Barber’s Knock Answered

Traditional Barber Shop is Open for Business

New Mexico native, Meshelle Alonzo, is opening a full service barbershop in the north heights at San Pedro Plaza.

Meshelle Alonzo is a first time small business owner with the desire to offer the services of an old fashioned barber shop. The Barber’s Knock will offer hot shaves and both classic and contemporary haircuts. Alonzo grew up in Gallup and has been part of the Albuquerque community for the past thirteen years. Alongside her, she will have two other employees and hopes to grow to four. The new 1,200 square foot location is right across from Red Lobster and Little Caesars Pizza. With vaulted and exposed ceilings, this shop has a classic, yet comfortable feel.

Gannon Coffman, retail specialist with NAI Maestas & Ward, assisted Alonzo in the lease of this space. He is known for his hard work ethic and innovative approach to successfully handle transactions.
