Rio Rancho City Center Seeing Growth

UNSER AND MAIN: With the opening of Presbyterian Hospital scheduled for November, 2011, and the UNMH Hospital in Rio Rancho City Center breaking ground soon, read more,  the entire Unser corridor is seeing a dramatic increase in interest and activity. Premier Theaters recently closed on the property at Southern and Unser to build a 12 screen cinema, Rio Rancho’s first, read more. Dion’s Pizza and Five Guys Hamburgers also recently committed to the area and other sites are under contract.

One of the primary corners on the corridor is still available for a retail development, the northeast corner of Unser and Westside Boulevard. Westside was recently opened and is already seeing heavy car counts. Unser Boulevard will soon be opened all of the way to I-40 and is already enjoying car counts that rival the NE Heights areas of Albuquerque. The Unser and Westside site already has a fully signalized intersection and one of the few right in, right out access points on Unser Boulevard.
