Steve Maestas, SCLS
Background & Experience
Steve has more than 25 years experience in the commercial real estate business in New Mexico. He co-founded NAI Maestas & Ward in 1996 and currently serves as the company’s Managing Partner, having grown it into New Mexico’s largest commercial real estate brokerage firm.
In 1985, he began his career in the retail banking industry, where his responsibilities included management, sales and customer service. In 1989, he joined Coldwell Banker, now CBRE, and was a top sales associate until his departure in 1996.
Steve is an experienced real estate company owner, qualifying broker, and advisor. He has handled more than 2,200 transactions during his career.
He is a partner in H&M Property Services, which operates maintenance, landscape and HVAC divisions servicing more than 2 million square feet of commercial space that is managed by NAI Maestas & Ward.
