Christian Sanchez
Experience
Christian joined NAI Maestas & Ward in 2011 as an advisor with eight years of experience in business and state and federal government. Most recently from 2006 to 2011, he worked as a Senior Analyst for the Legislative Finance Committee for the State of New Mexico overseeing the state operating budgets for the Regulation and Licensing and Judiciary Departments.
Previously, Christian was a Junior Associate with Ibarra Strategy Group in Washington, D.C., a governmental affairs and public relations firm. From 2004 to 2005, he worked as a Field Representative and Legislative Assistant for Congressman Brad Sherman handling labor and financial issues for the Congressman in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. and serving as the primary liaison to the Los Angeles Latino community. In New York from 2003 to 2004, he was a Global Markets Analyst for Merrill Lynch.
A graduate of Amherst College in Massachusetts with a major in Political Science, he received a Masters in Business Administration from the Robert O. Anderson Schools of Management at the University of New Mexico in 2010.
