Flagship Food Group Intends to Hire 300 People

Flagship Food Group is known for manufacturing processed foods and delivering these goods both on the national and international level. They have now selected a site in New Mexico for their new headquarters location.

On October 7th, Governor Susana Martinez, and Mayor Richard Berry announced the entry of Flagship Food Group’s new headquarters into New Mexico. The manufacturing company was originally headquartered in California and CEO Carlos Angulo had no doubt in placing the company’s headquarters in Albuquerque. The company plans to hire approximately 300 people over the course of the next five years, with 125 being immediate job openings. The company manufacturers everything from ready to bake dinner rolls to barbecue sauce, including New Mexico’s very own 505 salsa brand.

The building’s owners were represented in the transaction by Keith Meyer and Jim Wible of NAI Maestas & Ward. The building is roughly 78,000 square feet and already has both a refrigerated and freezer areas. Flagship Food Group headquarters will now be located just off Montano and Interstate 25 in Albuquerque.
